Where are you starting?
Often my clients feel stuck, murky about something they are doing, or are trying to figure out how to plan to avoid that.
They’re leaders who feel like they aren’t focused on what needs their attention or making progress in the direction they want. They’re teams that don’t feel aligned or are unclear about what direction they should be going in – or know they are diving into something big and want to get folks aligned from the get-go! Maybe they feel their current processes or interteam handoffs aren’t working like they want. Sometimes they are simply struggling with figuring out how to communicate something that is complicated in an important situation – and they can’t seem to find the positioning to drive the alignment or buy-in they want. And for some, they are in a position of career or role transition and are looking for someone to be a support partner as they work through those murky waters.
In almost all of these situations – the challenges folks face involve something strategically important, with a communications or process factor, and something that isn’t “working”. In my role – I engage folks at this intersection of strategy, organizational design, and communications. I jump in to help see if we can’t get my clients unstuck – whether they’re a team that feels like it’s disorganized, a nonprofit board or leader trying to figure out how to get from a to b, or a farmer taking over their business from their parents.
